As A lot of you know,there was and still is a big
controversy over the merles.Therefore I removed my merle page ,But I have the right for my opinion and for my page to be up
Unfortunately there are those out there ready to jump on the backs of
merle breeders.
I love the rare and unusual and therefore I love MERLES - Brindles -spots
.heck I love them all.
Who is to say merles weren't around all of this time, as some could of
been registered incorrectly ,as splash or spots?
AKC Standards is of any color includeing splash??
Right now the merles are popular, but as soon as every one has them,there price
will go down.
Here is where I get jump on ,by the know it alls out there.Hidden Merle
,Is it same thing as Phanton?
Any gene can be hidden,Right? We have hidden genes in us, that comes out
to our children ect.Bad ones good ones.I lost a infant baby girl because of a hidden gene,no one knew about.
Hidden merle being masked by another color. A pup that shows no merle,
but carries the gene from one parent, can thow a merle pup.Or a pup that shows merle at birth but looses the merle markings
as they mature.( By the way a merle can not be bred to another merle or a hidden merle)Remember that it is important if you
do not want birth defects in your pups.
There are now blue ,chocolate,red,fawn and merle spotted on white.There all beautiful
to me.
Therefore when you buy a pup from me you will know if there is merle in
it's background.
